Proposed electoral redistribution
In accordance with section 47 of the Electoral Act 1992, the Queensland Redistribution Commission released its proposed electoral redistribution of the State’s electoral districts on 10 March 2026. The Commission invited objections and comments on objections against the proposed redistribution.

Objections against the proposed redistribution closed on 9 April 2026 and can be viewed here.
The Commission considered all objections and comments on objections properly made under sections 48 and 49 of the Electoral Act 1992 to inform its final redistribution.
